Tramway
Getting about in Montpellier is a pleasure, too. Southern France's first Tramway enables rapid and inexpensive cross-city travel. Many Tramway stations are integrated with bus services and park-and-ride schemes and are run by the Agglomeration's single transport operator,
TaM.
The current 10-mile line stretches from the North West of Montpellier to the South East. The second line from the North East to the South West of Montpellier will enter service in 2006.
